That really added a lot of depth to your essay. You did a great job with your history and relating it why she was such a strong feminsit in her writing. You might of been able to give more comparisons but, you did a good job with the ones you had down. I liked learning about why she was a strong feminist and that came out in her poetry.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"23919629","dateCreated":"1273451158","smartDate":"May 9, 2010","userCreated":{"username":"dreispphs","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/dreispphs","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/pphsenglish332.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/23919629"},"dateDigested":1532173067,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"A London Thoroughfare 2 A.m. Comments","description":"The introduction of the analysis in some ways drifts from the focus of the essay, it's on the poem, which isn't mentioned in the entire first paragraph. However, in other ways, the introduction gives good background information on the poem, but maybe considering to switch the order of the paragraphs would make more since when stating exactly what you, the writer, should be talking about in the first place. Throughout the essay, the poem itself is barely discussed, which in terms of the size of the analysis means thats not very much at all. All in all, this analysis is nothing more than a short biography on Amy Lowell, which doesn't make much sense to the reader. However, it's good information because almost the entire analysis is comprised of parenthetical citations, where's your own words??
\n
\nSomething interesting would be the life of Amy Lowell as not being the ideal student.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"23907689","dateCreated":"1273413280","smartDate":"May 9, 2010","userCreated":{"username":"josiebensko","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/josiebensko","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/pphsenglish332.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/23907689"},"dateDigested":1532173067,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"Discussion by Josie","description":"1)The characteristics of Modernism in this essay were about the author, and not the actual poem.
\n
\n2)I learned that the author, Amy Lowell, was interested in women which contributed to all of her poems.
\n
\nI would not talk about the author as much and focus more on the poem itself.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
